Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: November 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes activities that are not allowed when using GetLeadExpo's services, deliverables, or website. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions. It applies to every client, user, and visitor.

1. General Principle

Use our services in a way that is lawful, respectful of recipients, and honest about who you are. If something feels borderline, ask us before doing it.

2. Prohibited Activities

2.1 Illegal use

  • Anything that violates applicable law in your jurisdiction or the recipient's jurisdiction — including anti-spam, telemarketing, consumer protection, and data protection laws (for example GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, TCPA).
  • Fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, or facilitating any of the above.

2.2 Misuse of lead data

  • Reselling, sublicensing, or publicly distributing lead lists we deliver.
  • Using B2B contact data for consumer marketing outside the scope for which it was collected.
  • Ignoring opt-out, unsubscribe, or do-not-contact requests from recipients.
  • Combining our data with other sources to build discriminatory profiles or scoring.

2.3 Spam and abusive outreach

  • Sending high-volume, untargeted, or deceptive email or SMS blasts.
  • Forging sender identity, headers, or reply-to addresses.
  • Failing to include a working unsubscribe or opt-out where the law requires one.
  • Harassing, threatening, or repeatedly contacting people who have asked you to stop.

2.4 Misuse of AI services

  • Impersonating a real person, brand, or public official using our AI agents, receptionists, or voice agents without their consent.
  • Using AI to generate content that is defamatory, hateful, sexually exploitative, or otherwise illegal.
  • Using AI to give regulated professional advice (medical, legal, financial) without appropriate qualifications and disclaimers.
  • Deliberately bypassing safety guardrails we build into your workflows.

2.5 Unauthorized scraping and access

  • Scraping getleadexpo.com or our client portals in violation of technical or contractual restrictions.
  • Accessing accounts, credentials, or data that do not belong to you.
  • Reverse engineering our internal tooling, prompts, or workflow templates beyond what applicable law permits.

2.6 Security violations

  • Introducing malware, viruses, or malicious code into our systems or into workflows we deliver.
  • Attempting to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to any GetLeadExpo or third-party service.
  • Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of our systems without written permission.

3. Compliant Outreach — Client Checklist

  • Send only to business contacts who are a plausible fit for your offer.
  • Identify yourself and your company clearly in every message.
  • Provide a simple way to opt out and honour it promptly.
  • Respect regional rules on prior consent (for example the EU, UK, and Canada).
  • Keep a record of who was contacted, when, and how consent or legitimate interest was established.

4. Reporting Abuse

If you believe someone is misusing a GetLeadExpo-delivered service, or you have received unwanted messages from a workflow we operate, contact us at contact@getleadexpo.com with the details and we will investigate.

5. Enforcement

We reserve the right to warn, pause, suspend, or terminate any engagement — with or without notice — where we reasonably believe this AUP has been breached. Where required by law, we will cooperate with regulators and law enforcement. Fees for work already completed remain payable, and no refund is due for engagements terminated for breach of this AUP.

6. Updates

We may update this AUP over time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
